Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon.

Ali Banat, you may know him as the man gifted with cancer, has passed away. Mashallah he was able to inspire many Muslims around the globe before he left us and impacted many lives that needed help. He was true example of Allah bringing someone out of the darkness into the light. His story is admirable and he left in Ramadan, mashallah.

May Allah grant him firdaus and protect him from any torment. May Ali Banat be in one of the most beautiful phases of his life. May Ali Banat be under the mercy and pleasure of Allah subhana wa ta’ala. May Allah protect him from any sort of pain and reward him according to the best of his deeds. Ameen.

Anonymous asked: Who is Ali Banat and why is he so important?

strivingfor-jannah-deletingsoon:

He’s a really rich and successful buisness man who was diagnosed with cancer and was told he had only a few months to live.

When we was told that…. he had a change of heart. He began to think about death and how none of his fancy cars or £60,000 watches would come to any use when he dies.

He knew that the only thing he could take with him was the good deeds he did in this life, so he disposed all his assets and was determind to make a difference in the lives of many who needed a helping hand.

(I found this from a site)
For one of his projects, Ali travelled to Togo, Africa, where he felt he could help without too much red tape. He founded the MATW Africa Project which aims to build a village which will be home to over 200 widows, a school, and a residential dorm to house 600 orphans. A mini hospital/medical centre and businesses to support the local community are also going to be established….

Ali explains: “After someone tells you, or you find out that you are sick or haven’t got much time in this life, wealth is the last thing you want to chase and this is how we should be living our life every day”. “It all started when I went to the cemetery to attend a funeral and I was thinking to myself after you go, there’s nothing, there’s no one there for you, no mother, no father, no brother, and no sister except for your good deeds. At this point in my life, I have been gifted by Allah with cancer throughout my body and I have changed my whole life to helping people. It is a gift because Allah has given me a chance and some time to change.“

So basically this man is amazing because in the little time he has left he was able to do so much for people that needed his help most. He is a blessing for them, and his situation is a real eye opener for other muslims.

No matter how successful or young you are, you will face death sooner or later. You will be alone then, with nothing but your good and bad deeds with you when you die, and you will continue to live in the hearts of all those you helped…
